What we publish

Bhavflow shows one national indicative rate for gold (24K, 22K, 18K) and silver (999) in India, in rupees. It is an IBJA-referenced indicative rate that includes an estimated market premium; GST and making charges are not included. It is not a shop price and not an official figure.

The formula

24K per gram = (US$ per troy ounce ÷ 31.1034768) × USD–INR × (1 + import duty) × (1 + domestic market premium). Import duty is currently 15% on gold and 15% on silver, and the estimated premium is 1% on gold and 5% on silver. 22K = 24K × 22/24 and 18K = 24K × 18/24. Full details are on the About page.
