  1. · 24K, 22K, 18K and silver rate pages (EN + HI): today’s range, candles, 1-day chart

What was wrong: Some 30-minute points came from a backup data source that can lag by a day. Single points dropped 3–6% and recovered, and a few old values repeated, so “Today’s range” and some candle lows were too low.

What we changed: Points from the backup source that are more than 1.5% (gold) or 3% (silver) away from the last main-source point, and any exact repeat of an older value, are now rejected and logged. The bad points were removed from the history; range, candles and daily closes use main-source points only.

  2. · Rate pages, About, FAQ, structured data (EN + HI)

What was wrong: The copy said our premium was “calibrated to IBJA”, but our rate usually sits about 1% (gold) to 3% (silver) above the IBJA benchmark.

What we changed: Reworded to “IBJA-referenced indicative rate, includes an estimated market premium”, and pages with the IBJA table now show the day’s gap (“Bhavflow vs IBJA”).

  3. · Chennai, Kerala, Kochi, Thrissur, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai silver pages (EN + HI)

What was wrong: These pages show an association board rate, but the text and FAQ said Bhavflow shows no local rate, and the Chennai page named a different association than the one in the box.

What we changed: The copy now names the board shown (CWJA for Chennai, AKGSMA for Kerala, CJA for Coimbatore, JAB for Bengaluru). Each box shows when Bhavflow last checked the source, and an older board rate is labelled “last published board rate (<date>)”.

  4. · Hallmark / HUID text on city, carat, silver and blog pages (EN + HI)

What was wrong: The HUID was described as a “6-digit” code.

What we changed: Corrected to a 6-character alphanumeric HUID (letters and digits).

  5. · Silver pages and silver FAQ (EN + HI)

What was wrong: Our silver rate was called a “national benchmark”, which suggests an official figure.

What we changed: Now called an “indicative national reference”, with a note that jeweller and board silver prices include a dealer margin.

How we work: methodology and editorial policy.
